I'm Shelby Ray!

I'm the photographer behind Shelby Ray Photography, a proud small-town girl who's called Woodland, Washington home since I was four years old. I was born in California while my dad was serving as a Navy Chief, but the Pacific Northwest is where my heart has always been.

I'm a mama to an incredible three year old boy on the autism spectrum, and he has changed the way I see the world. He reminds me to slow down, celebrate every milestone, and find beauty in the little moments that often go unnoticed.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me with a good book, out kayaking or fishing, or soaking up everything the outdoors has to offer. My love for nature and genuine connection inspires the way I photograph every session.

Photography is more than a job to me, it's a way of preserving the moments that matter most. Whether it's a wedding day, growing family, motherhood, or a quiet evening spent together, I want you to have images that bring you right back to how it all felt.
